The La Crosse & District Pipes & Drums marched in its first parade at Oktoberfest in 1976, and has been bringing the stirring sound of Highland pipes and drums to the Coulee Region for five decades since. Our 15 members proudly wear the Campbell of Cawdor tartan.
From community ceremonies and festivals to street parades, and private events we celebrate Scottish and Celtic heritage throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and beyond. The Band is an entity of The La Crosse Highlanders, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 1979 to preserve Scottish history and culture through community involvement.
